Giorgis Hristodoulou “Attik in Paris…and other stories”
April 5 @ 21:00 - 22:30

George Christodoulou presents in Volos and Estia Pelion the unknown “lost” songs of Attik from the time when he lived in Paris.
His later Greek hits, his affairs and his life unfold in the first part of the evening, while in the second part George, with his warm voice and his stories, brings back the atmosphere of the old cabarets of the inter-war period.
“In the morning you wake me with kisses“, “How I regret“, “Let’s go as before“, “You ask me to tell you” and many more, each song and a unique story.
For which woman was “If You’d Only Come For A Little While” written?
in what “strange” way were the songs known before radio?
Was there a light “revolutionary” song before Theodorakis?
These and many other questions are answered in George Christodoulou’s humorous and moving performance, accompanied by the talented Alexandros Avdeliotis on piano.
