In the 70s, a musical miracle was born, which continued in the following decades.
Manolis Rasoulis and Nikos Xydakis met with Nikos Papazoglou and created the album “The Revenge of the Gypsies“.
Dimitris Kontogiannis and Sofia Diamanti participated as performers.
Songs such as “crazy and stray“, “no one here sings” were destined to change the course of genuine folk singing in Greece.
The album was recorded at Nikos Papazoglou‘s studio “Agrotikon“.
It was in this studio that Socrates Malamas recorded his first solo album “Black and white stories” in the 1980’s and Thanasis Papakonstantinou recorded his second solo album “In Andromeda and on Earth” in the 1990’s.
